• With the Nutrition as We Age member engagement workshop training, you will gain a basic understanding of nutrition and the vital role it plays in aging optimally for a vibrant and active older adult lifestyle. This new course gives you a way to reach participants outside your regularly fitness classes through education events. Member engagement workshops provide you with a diversified range of well-being information and resources, including a facilitator’s guide, member handouts and an optional slide deck.

• Are you ready to be the best instructor you can be? Perfect for both new and seasoned instructors, the Fundamentals of Teaching Group Fitness training helps you master the skills necessary to be a group exercise superstar. Through interactive practice, you’ll master music identity, cueing for safe transitions and techniques for selecting safe exercise and movement combinations. A self-assessment tool at the end of the course will help you assess your skills and identify areas for continued growth.

• Important Note: For instructors who’ve already completed 8 Tivity credits, you can add these courses to your In Progress tab but do not complete them until your next CEC cycle starts or the credits will not count. Remember, credits do not roll over to future cycles.
